"Weekend" George will sample you through a gathering of the newest arrivals to hit Suburban's shelves.
Here is the Line-up:
Buchegger Rosé '10
Our weekly featured rosé comes this time from Austria. Made of Pinot Noir, this is one of the delights of the season. Very easy to love.
Cantina del Taburno Falanghina '10
Almond blossom, lemon, and fresh nectarine come to mind when considering this Campanian Falanghina, made from the best fruit of a cooperative of growers.
Schug Chardonnay '08
We've been impressed lately with the wines of this Carneros producer. The '08 Chard is precise and beautiful. Conservative use of oak, and noteworthy balance.
Le Fraghe Bardolino '10
Each spring/summer, we like to feature a light-bodied, chill-able, dry Italian red to offer our red wine drinkers in the warm weather. Say hello to Bardolino made the old-fashioned way.
Goulart Cabernet Sauvignon Clásico '09
Here's a sexy new find in Argentinean Cabernet. Goulart Clásico is eye-popping good, and way under-priced. Vividly sweet and plumy with notes of licorice and brambly fruit.
Portal del Alto Carmenere Reserva '05
We love when great new-world wines are released late. This '05 is in full stride; while it's still fresh and alive, it has grown smoky and complex.
