Saturday Bubbles Tasting!!!!

We've got some BUBBLES for you on Saturday with 'Weekend George'!
Saturday, December 31st
12noon-5pm (or until they run out)

Here is the line-up:

Adami Prosecco Superiore Bosco di Gica, Brut, NV
Ten years ago, some of us on the staff never even heard of Prosecco. Today, it's a staple, and our best-selling bubbly category. Adami is perhaps our best offering, with impressive delivery of fruit, acid, mineral and yeast. Officially from Italy's Valdobbiadene.

Hubert Clavelin Brut Comté, Cremant du Jura, NV
What a fantastic affordable alternative to Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Try a sparkling Chardonnay from Eastern France's Jura district and prepare to be dazzled by its surprising character and depth of flavor.

Parigot Blanc de Blancs Cremant de Bourgogne, NV
Here's where we get into real vineyard expression….Sparkling White Burgundy! Parigot is lean and mean, and has perhaps the best acidity in the pack. For a serious food-wine to ponder while you enjoy it, this is Exhibit A.

Gimonnet-Gonet Champagne Le Mesnil, NV
Champagne….it's the real thing. Particularly with this bio-dynamic, grand cru selection. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 40-year-old vines, this is what we mean by world class. Krug has a bottling from the same village, but it sells for 20 times the price! Yes, 20.

Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut Rosé, NV
Known widely to be the most Champagne-like of all American sparkling wines are Schramsberg's bubblies. A particularly affordable and fine example is their non-vintage rosé Mirabelle, a wine of remarkable depth and roundness.

D'Arenberg The Stump Jump Sticky Chardonnay '08
It wouldn't be the holidays without dessert wine. We all buy them, but never seem to find an occasion to enjoy them. Now is the time. Check out this fun Aussie sticky made from botrytis Chardonnay in the Adelaide Hills region.
